Return and Refund Policy

At Wattle + Lee Collective, we are committed to delivering beautifully handcrafted jewellery that reflects our passion for quality and design. While we aim for your complete satisfaction, we’re here to assist if your purchase doesn’t meet your expectations.

Returns Eligibility:

You may return your item(s) for the following reasons:

  • Faulty Items: If your item has a defect as outlined under Australian Consumer Law, we will either repair, replace, or refund the item, depending on the nature of the fault.
  • Change of Mind: Returns for change of mind are accepted, excluding items listed below under "Non-Returnable Items."

Our handcrafted jewellery may have small, unique imperfections like minor fibres or indents, which add to the individuality of each piece. These are not considered defects, but part of the handcrafted process that makes each item one-of-a-kind.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Custom and Bespoke Jewelley: Including any personalised designs or custom orders, unless faulty.
  • Earrings: For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on earrings unless they arrive faulty.
  • Items that show signs of wear or use.
  • Items damaged during shipping: All packages are carefully secured to avoid damage in transit. Wattle + Lee Collective is not responsible for any loss or damage during shipping.

Initiating a Return or Refund:

To begin a return, contact us at wattleandlee@gmail.com with your order number, a brief description of the issue, and photos showing any faults or defects. Please wait for return authorisation before sending back any items.

Return Process:

  1. Authorisation: After assessing your request, we will issue a return authorisation if applicable.
  2. Return Packaging: Items must be packaged securely in original or similar protective packaging.
  3. Return Shipping: Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to a product defect or our mistake. We recommend choosing a trackable and insured method for returns.

Inspection & Refund:

Once we receive the returned item, we will inspect it. If the return meets our eligibility criteria:

  • Refunds will be processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.
  • Replacements will be sent as soon as possible if needed.

Bespoke Design Orders: For custom and bespoke jewellery through our Bespoke Packages, we work directly with you to create personalised pieces. Please carefully review your order details before finalising, as bespoke designs are non-refundable unless faulty.

Cancellations: You can cancel your order if it hasn’t been shipped. Contact us immediately for cancellation requests.

Customer Responsibility: It is your responsibility to ensure all order details, including shipping information, are correct at the time of purchase. Errors due to incorrect information are not eligible for refunds or returns.
